Joe Petti serves as Vice President of Safety & Claims at Fern Rock Insurance Agency, where he leads the agency’s Special Missions Unit (SMU) — a dedicated team specializing in integrated risk management and claims advocacy. With 20 years of experience in the safety and risk management field, Joe brings a proactive, strategic approach to protecting client assets, minimizing risk exposures, and ensuring seamless claims handling.

Joe holds a Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management from Slippery Rock University. Over the course of his career, he has built a unique global perspective, having worked in the oil and gas industry across more than 40 countries, developing and implementing safety and risk management programs in highly complex and regulated environments. Following his international work, Joe brought his expertise to the domestic arena with SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, where he continued to advance industry-leading safety initiatives and risk mitigation strategies.

At Fern Rock, Joe oversees all risk management consulting services and claims operations, ensuring that every program reflects the latest industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices. His leadership ensures that clients receive comprehensive, proactive solutions that not only manage claims efficiently but also create safer, more resilient organizations.
